In the back of my mind, I was thinking how nice it would be if someone had invented a product that was a little bit of <em>both<\/em>. And, like a thirsty desert mirage that seemed <em>too good to be true<\/em>, I was suddenly staring at that exact <em>thing<\/em>. When refrigerated, it\u2019s almost as thick as a cheese ball, and can be used as a cracker spread. I heated mine <em>slightly<\/em> and used it as a warm queso dip for my mini tacos. It was <em>all<\/em> delicious. I think this would also taste good spread on an omelet. The base ingredient in <em>this<\/em> Mexicali dip is cream cheese. And sour cream. I love cream! My body thanked me for feeding it this dip. The cheesiness is about as strong as pimento cheese spread. There\u2019s a slight twang from vinegar. Plus the wonderful, tangy taste of the cream cheese and sour cream. The savory flavor is a mixture of garlic and onion powder, jalapeno, chipotle, and red peppers. Mmmmm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I could do without the added mayonnaise, though.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nutrition Facts<\/strong> and <strong>Price<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pretty predictable nutrition profile: each 2 tablespoon serving has 100 calories, 10 grams of fat, 1 <em>sad<\/em> gram of protein, and no fiber. There\u2019s only 3 grams of carbohydrates per serving, of which 1 gram is sugar. Zero grams added sugars, even though sugar is an ingredient on the label? Strange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>10 ounce tub cost $3.39<\/strong> at my local Aldi, which was higher than I wanted it to be. But, fulfilling dreams comes at a price, no?
