These are my own unbiased opinions.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The best kind of eerie.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I probably wouldn&#8217;t have bought these pastries from Costco if I hadn&#8217;t <em>just<\/em> had a great experience with their <a href=\"https:\/\/snarklesauce.com\/blog\/2026\/05\/23\/costco-peaches-cream-cake-review\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"14093\">Peaches &amp; Cream Bar Cake<\/a>. The good news is, these butter pastries have an eerily similar filling to the cake. The best kind of eerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My favorite thing about these pastries is that they&#8217;re <em>not<\/em> overly sweet. And, if choosing between &#8220;cheese danish&#8221; and &#8220;fruit danish&#8221; makes you cry, dry those eyes! Because you get <em>both<\/em> here. I was surprised to see this &#8220;cream&#8221; filling is made from greek yogurt (<em>and<\/em> cream cheese, of course). It has a soft, very lightly sweetened, and slightly tangy taste. It sort of clumps together in fluffy curds. It has a &#8220;marmalade&#8221; consistency, with tender chunks of peach suspended in a sweet, gelatinous mixture. Paddington Bear might even approve. The fruit flavor is full-bodied without tasting fake (even if it <em>is<\/em>). I liked the whiff of tartness from the real lemon juice. Just right. Like most Costco pastries, these have flakey, buttery layers all the way through. It&#8217;s more &#8220;danish&#8221; texture than anything else. About 5 inches long. On my kitchen scale, they weigh around 4 ounces each. A whole breakfast. Sodium Metabisulphite is especially disappointing, since I have a sulfite sensitivity. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nutrition Facts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you wish Costco printed the Nutrition Facts on the bakery packages? So do I! But they don&#8217;t. Here&#8217;s what I dug up on the <a href=\"https:\/\/sameday.costco.com\/store\/costco\/products\/107070197-kirkland-signature-peaches-and-cream-pastries-8-ct\">Costco Same-Day<\/a> site: a serving is 1 pastry and contains 400 calories. You get 19 grams of fat (11 grams saturated fat) and 7 grams protein. There are 51 grams total carbohydrates, of which 24 grams are sugars (22 grams &#8220;added sugars&#8221;) and 1 gram is fiber. But I got mine on sale for $8.99. Since there are 8 servings per packages, each pastry would cost $1.50 at the regular price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.costco.com\/f\/-\/about-kirkland-signature\">Kirkland Signature<\/a>&#8221; (Costco store-brand) product, and the item # is: 2027211.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shelf Life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The &#8220;sell by&#8221; date on my package was dated for 3 days after purchase. But mine lived in my refrigerator for about a week before I finished them. They were starting to get a little flabby at the end. I love  you.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Great texture and flavor. Easy to serve. Showstopping appearance. I am not thrilled by the ingredients. Still, I <em>probably<\/em> would buy these again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(A package with a <em>mix<\/em> of fruit flavors would really crank my tractor, though.
