It&#8217;s Thanksgiving, so egg rolls seem <em>completely<\/em> relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway. The egg rolls are impressively crispy with a <em>fantastic<\/em> bubbled crust that is slightly chewy, yet soft inside. I love the flavor. It&#8217;s reminiscent of ramen soup with a splash of celery seed. It&#8217;s a strong taste, and quite savory. The package says no <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monosodium_glutamate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MSG<\/a>, so there is some other dark magic at work. Or a beige lie. The innards are beige and squashy. The filling is mushed together in a shockingly undignified manner. It doesn&#8217;t look anything like the product picture on the box. It&#8217;s best if you eat these rolls without looking inside. I appreciated those blobs. I relished them. They were distinct, and chewable. Maybe. Allegedly, there is chicken. I might have tasted chicken once, in the 25 pieces I have eaten so far. The chicken seems to be a distant rumor, like Sasquatch. Maybe it&#8217;s there. Or maybe it isn&#8217;t. Chicken is beige. So I ate eight. Or nine. Who is counting. If you are only eating three of these egg rolls, you deserve some kind of award. This worked great. There are <em>eggactly<\/em> 25 pieces in each bag. Fifty rolls per box means I get about 6 meals total. Sale price is $6.99. I cooked mine at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. I did <em>not<\/em> need to spray the egg rolls with oil before baking, and they don\u2019t seem to stick egregiously to the foil lined pan. I also did <em>not<\/em> flip them over \u2014 I just cooked them on one side.
